The Director - Medicinal Chemistry (UK) - will primarily be responsible for managing drug discovery activities within the UK medicinal chemistry team, and outsourced equivalents, from target declaration up to candidate selection. The role is highly strategic, helping to shape and define the direction for company, program and IP filings; as well as technical, providing specialist medicinal chemistry input to optimise cyclic peptides (Bicycles®) as drug like entities and identifying and bringing to bear new impactful technologies.
Research Associate/Research Scientist located in the UK, who will be involved in the design, synthesis, modification purification, and analysis of peptides and Bicyclic peptides (Bicycles). Working as part of the Discovery team, you will be responsible for advancing early stage drug discovery projects from concept to molecule and for delivering peptides and reagents to the Discovery Biology team to help drive Structure Activity Relationship studies. The role will involve close interaction with both the Biology and Chemistry teams to organise and schedule project activities and to review data and progress. Additional interactions will be with our US team and external collaborators in our partnership deals. You should be self-motivated well organised, diligent in record keeping, have a good working knowledge of the drug discovery process and be able to perform consistently at the highest level.
Research Scientist/Senior Scientist located in the UK who will enjoy a varied role identifying and optimising novel peptides using Bicycle’s proprietary phage display technology to deliver leads for drug discovery programs across a variety of disease areas. In addition, you will be involved in developing Bicycle’s unique technology platform. We are looking for highly-motivated, well organised candidates with a good working knowledge of the drug discovery process who enjoy working at the bench and perform consistently at the highest level. Previous experience of phage display is advantageous but not essential.
The Research Scientist located in Cambridge, MA USA will be primarily responsible for developing and testing experimental strategies for immuno-oncology applications of bicyclic peptides (Bicycles®). He or she will be expected to be a key immunology expert with understanding of recent academic advances in immunology, especially in immuno-oncology and bring new and creative thinking and perspective to the use of Bicycle in immuno-oncology. This position will be ideal for those candidates wishing to combine their interest in immunobiology of cancer with their strong desire to discover therapeutic approaches.
The Research Associate/Scientist located in Cambridge, MA USA will be primarily responsible for developing immune-oncology and oncology in vitro and ex vivo assays of bicyclic peptides (Bicycles®) and Bicycle Drug conjugates (BDCs®) to enhance progress of Bicycle’s oncology pipeline towards the clinic. In this lab-based role, he or she will be a key player in implementing in vitro characterizations of lead BDC series in Cambridge, U.S.

We are seeking a highly motivated pharmacologist with expertise in oncology, especially immuno-oncology, who will lead the in vivo pharmacology at Bicycle. He or she will primarily be responsible for overseeing the oncology in vivo research activities that support discovery research and pre-clinical development of Bicycles and Bicycle Drug Conjugates. He or she will work closely with project teams to drive the preclinical strategy for advancing oncology and immuno-oncology pipeline.
The Director / Senior Director Oncology Translational Science will build, shape and lead Bicycle Therapeutics oncology translational science strategy as we progress our first Bicyclic peptide drugs to the clinic. They will also play an important role in determining overall company strategy.
